National Coming Out Day
October 13, 2016
On October 11, 1987, a group of two hundred thousand marched in Washington, DC for increased funding to fight the HIV/AIDS epidemic. It was called The National March on Washington for Lesbian and Gay Rights. Terp Weekly Edition’s Shane Raphael spoke with a University of Maryland senior about how the nation now remembers this day here.
