Privacy for Terpmail

Tafisha Edwards: With changes to Google’s e-mail Privacy Policy, host Tafisha Edwards sat down with a University of Maryland IT Specialist  to see what the change will mean for students.

Students use the computers at McKeldin library. The switch from the "umd.edu" email server to "Terpmail" affected the University's 26,826 undergraduate students.

Baseball Attendance at All Time Low

Owen Sloan: Coach Bakich is baffled at the low attendance for University of Maryland baseball games, but has a plan for this season to try and fill the stands at Shipley Stadium.

Tuition Hikes

Wynne Anderson: In an effort to stop tuition hikes the SGA went to speak with legislators in Annapolis on Monday, Feb. 27th, along with any other Maryland students who wanted to go.

Maryland students walk in to the Maryland House of Delegates on Monday evening for Terrapin Pride Day, where students come and speak face to face with state legislators about current university issues.

 

University of Maryland President Wallace Loh and Assistant to the President Ross A. Stern talk to SGA President Kaiyi Xie and SGA Director of Communications Zach Cohen before the students left to speak to state legislators. The president and his assistant came to Annapolis with the students as a part of Terrapin Pride Day.
